Batuu Sweet Batuu: Creating Galaxy's Edge at Home

The first time you visit Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland or Disney World, may the force be with you when it comes time to leave. This land is so immersive that you can forget, for moment, what the world looks like outside the berm. There's so much to see, experience and soak in. Bringing home that magic may seem like a out of this world feat, but you might as well spend a night back in Batuu at home with this land-themed meal I made for May the 4th (aka Star Wars Day.)

How to Cast a Sanderson Sister Spell on Your Friends: Hocus Pocus Sips & Shots Game

"All Hallow's Eve has become a night of frolic, where children wear costumes and run amuck!" It's Halloween season and I am here for it. The decor, the costumes, the activities and the fact that it's socially acceptable to watch Hocus Pocus EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. Honestly, I watch it year round, but October is a full on marathon and I have to make it fun for everyone else now that we are adults. Consider this our replacement to trick or treating fun...a Hocus Pocus drinking game!

Poison Apple Cider • Go on, Have a Sip

Fall is upon us! Can't you smell the flannel and sweaters in the air? Can you feel the pumpkin spice running through your veins? What about noticing a touch of apple colors in your outfits? Yep, that all means Fall is here! While pumpkin seems to be the go-to flavor of the season, don't forget about apple cider, that fresh, spiced and slightly fermented beverage we all enjoy. Since you have been patiently anticipating the return of Autumn, I'm going to share a secret with you. Its my favorite Fall time adult beverage. This is no ordinary apple cider, it's a magic apple cider (for those 21+ years old.)

Disneyland in a Day: How I Got My non-Disney Husband to the Parks

Another Disney Bucket List item checked off! My husband hadn't been to Disneyland since we were first married. Yes, as much as I like to visit the Happiest Place on Earth, most of trips have been without my husband. It's just not his thing, but "Disney wife, happy life" right?!  Part of why he agreed to spend the day at Disneyland with me was to extend a road trip he had wanted to take to Las Vegas for an event. The other part was because I told him that he would have a better experience than he did 12 years before. His exact words were "how are you going to make the lines disappear?" Okay, Shane, challenge accepted. Let me tell you how I got my non-Disney husband to enjoy Disneyland Resort.

This Princess RUNS the Kingdom : Workout Wednesday Playlist

Have you ever seen a castle glow right before the sun rises? Have you ever had a sing-a-long with a group of strangers before 6am? What about high fiving Mickey at the end of your workout? If you answered yes, then chances are you have participated in a RunDisney race. You know what Moana really means when she says "what's beyond that line? Will I cross that line?"

Making Magic for My 35th Birthday

Happy Birthday...Happy Birthday! Happy, Happy Birthday to me! And what a way to celebrate 35 years of magic! I've been to Disneyland for other people's birthdays, for holidays and other celebrations, but I was finally able to cross of an item on my Disney Bucket List....a birthday trip for ME! Being at the parks would have been festive enough, but there are other things that happened that made it EXTRA magical.

A Very Merry Birthday (mad) Tea Party

Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down and there's always time for tea, so gathering my friends together for tea to celebrate turning another year older seemed to fit the bill last year. However, we couldn't just gather at someone's house for tea, we had to go all out and have a mad adventure. It made for a very, merry unbirthday to me!
